Happy New Year! I'm a little late to the game but I really do hope you all had an amazing holiday. I got back to work last week and with our biggest event of the year only 8 short weeks away, I've been swamped with operational tasks and meeting deadlines to ensure it all runs smoothly. It's challenging and VERY exciting at the same time. Email me if you'd be interested to hear more about my day job.
Since it's the coldest time of the year in Toronto right now, my hubby and I have been reminiscing about our amazing honeymoon we had back in late November. I hadn't shared any photos of it so I figured this is probably the best opportunity. We have also just started getting all our photos from the wedding; I'll definitely share some of those soon as well.
James and I went to Jamaica for 5-6 days and outside of our crazy experience at the airport, everything about the country was beautiful. The people were friendly and the culture was very interesting. I couldn't have asked for a better vacation! Towards the end of our trip we truly began to fall in love with their language and accent.
Now even when I'm on holiday, I'm really not the type to hang out in daisy dukes and a tank, so I pulled together some outfits with big, poofy skirts and statement necklaces like the one above. I wanted to look and feel pretty but also comfortable; it's my honeymoon after all!
Stay tuned as I share more photos of Jamaica and what we did on our trip.
