Shopping in Toronto with #TowardsTomorrow

|

Many would argue that their favourite place to go shopping is at a mall or an outlet complex, for convenience and to get everything done in one area. Maybe it’s because I worked for 4-5 years in this hub, but I absolutely love shopping at Queen Street West. The mix of my favourite clothing stores with independent, local shops is so fun, and that way, when you’re putting outfits together no one else ends up wearing the exact same thing as you.

Toyota Canada asked me plan a fictional road trip in my mind and describe where I’d go in the city with the Toyota Prius. Naturally, I thought of the downtown core! If I go at a certain time, beating rush hour and traffic, I can easily park at a Green P and get all of my shopping done. I’d grab an iced coffee from Starbucks, pay a little visit to some of my favourite boutiques including M for Mendocino, Tatyana Boutique and LUSH, get exercise while walking up and down the streets, and finally finish the evening with sushi dinner, or if I’m feeling bad, maybe burgers.

I hope you all have enjoyed my mini series with Toyota Canada to celebrate the brand’s fabulous Towards Tomorrow Event, which wraps up this week. Learn more about it here! I had a chance to check out the different cars they have set up for display, test drive the 2016 Prius (which I am now obsessed with!) and even made a little cruising playlist that you might like!
