Shake Things Up with Lancome Juicy Shaker

|

Tinted lip gloss was never my thing…until now. I've always been a lipstick kind of gal: matte, bold and long-lasting. However, I opt for a non-sticky, light gloss in the summer to give my lips a nice glow. Lucky for me, Lancome recently came out with Juicy Shaker, the latest beauty innovation everyone's chatting about, so I gave them a shot!

Firstly, can we talk about the packaging? These Juicy Shaker tubes are super cute, fit perfectly in my palm and can easily squeeze into a little clutch if need be.

The texture of Juicy Shaker is soft, nourishing and non-sticky… just how I like my lip glosses to be! Each lip gloss contains a blend of various oils, colour + a delightful flavour (fruity or dessert-like); cocktail these things together and you've got hydrating, natural-looking, tinted lips! Depending on where you live, Juicy Shaker comes in 9-20 different shades. Below you'll find shades 313 Boom-Meringue and 352 Wondermelon.

The staying power for Juicy Shaker is great. As Lancome says, the best way to apply is to Shake Shake Shake then Dab Dab Dab. I was surprised by how long the tint and moisture lasted! I usually apply my makeup early morning with slight touch-ups after lunch, but when I did go to freshen up, the colour was still there! It also helps that because it's been super humid these days, these lightweight glosses have definitely been my go-to lip product everyday.

If you're curious about how they look, check out my photos below! On the left I'm wearing 352 Wondermelon and on the right, 313 Boom-Meringue. See the difference?!
