Herbal Essences Argan Oil of Morocco Collection is a Cocktail of Citrus & Spice

|

It's tangy, citrusy, spicy. I'm not talking about the last meal I made using a cookbook I recently picked up. Herbal Essences' new Argan Oil of Morocco collection is definitely something to indulge in.

I was quickly intrigued by three factors of the Shampoo, Conditioner, and Oil Infused Crème:
  • It smells like a delightful meal, topped with Moroccan tea
  • The base of each product is Argan oil (hence the name)
  • It is safe to use on coloured hair and has antioxidants that protect against damage

Herbal Essences bio:renew Argan Oil of Morocco Oil Infused Crème: If your hair tangles easily (like mine), this smooths them out without weighing your hair down. Herbal Essences claim on this product is that your hair will bring your hair back to life in just 21 days; the formula is designed for instant repair, shine and frizz protection.

To be honest, I wasn't sure how the blend of oil and cream would suit on my hair, especially since I don't wash it everyday. I was pleasantly surprised that even though there is oil in it, it doesn't feel greasy or leave my hair looking wet. Out of the three products in this collection, this is a must-try!

Herbal Essences bio:renew Argan Oil of Morocco Shampoo + Conditioner: I haven't used Herbal Essences in quite a while, but I saw that this line is good for coloured hair and decided to put it to the test. Normally, even when they say it's safe for red hair, my colour still fades after each wash, but I was SHOCKED when I didn't see any red come out of my hair in the shower! How is that even possible?! It always looks like a blood bath when I wash my hair...

After one wash my hair felt super silky, and noticed that it didn't catch tangles that quickly over the first week that I began using it! The only drawback is that because each product is enriched with Argan oil, I do feel the need to wash my hair more frequently than I would normally. However, it's been nice to give my hair all the nutrients it needs + deserves after all the damage I put it through.

Out of the three products, I definitely like the Crème the most and would definitely purchase it again; it's too soon to determine if I feel the same way about the shampoo and conditioner as I am not even halfway through the bottles yet.
