Build Your Ultimate Wardrobe: Invest in Quality Pieces

|

I've been living in dresses lately. While that has always been my "go-to" style, instead of getting the trendiest affordable pieces or sifting through racks of fast fashion, I've come to realize that investing in fewer, high quality items goes a long way when creating your ultimate wardrobe.

In the past I would always have thousands of dresses, tops, bags, jewelry and be overwhelmed every morning trying to decide what to wear. This year I decided to eliminate that sort of stress in my life and only keep pieces that are:
  1. Versatile - can be dressed up or down
  2. Go well in a casual setting as well as for meetings or going to an office
  3. Timeless and classy
Of course, you're going to want to buy that $15 maxi dress for those scorching hot days or have a variety of tunics and leggings to throw on when you're not in the best mood, or feeling crappy while on your period. Lets be real with ourselves! However, the idea is to truly love every single thing in your closet and be excited to wake up and get dressed every morning + be happy with your outfit 110%.

I picked this dress up on a whim when we were in Montreal back in May, and I've been wearing it almost on a weekly basis this summer! It's a good midi length, tucks in at the right spots and the cut-out shoulder makes it on-trend for the season. Did I mention that it's super comfortable too?!
