Yesterday I woke up with the biggest smile on my face. After 3 and a half weeks of a headache constantly swirling around my brain and the back of my eyes, I finally felt it fading away this past weekend. I tried getting more sleep, increasing my daily exercise, changing my diet (a bit)... even gave up coffee for a couple of days. Nothing helped until I stopped complaining and went on with my life regardless!

I'm also one of those people that will Google what may be wrong with me, and then come to TERRIBLE conclusions. Why do we do this to ourselves? Sometimes it's better to just let your body do its thing and heal. During this time I was actually feeling super inspired and couldn't wait to get back to my busy 24-hour self; it was simply the aches that kept me from achieving everything I wanted.

I picked up this dress for a wedding earlier this summer. It's always tricky when you're ordering online, especially from a shop you're not too familiar with! I was completely set on making sure I got the right fit, so I ordered 3 different sizes and shipped the other two back. Does anyone else do this or am I nuts?! Turns out, this has been my go-to dress ALL season long. I wear it to meetings, random park outings and events too. It's comfy, super stylish and can be worn casually or dressed up.

Here's to hoping the headache is gone for good, I can find more colourful prints similar to this for transitional fall pieces and that we're back to regular *scheduled programming!
