Tips for Self-Care & Re-Energizing Yourself This Spring

Ever have those days (or weeks) where you can’t keep your focus or things don’t feel right? You’re definitely not alone. We all have fire and energy inside of us, and when we’re trying to accomplish so much on an everyday basis, sometimes that energy can burn out. I hear this is definitely the case during the cusp of seasonal change, too!

However, when this does happen, it’s important for us to acknowledge that it’s happening, take a step back and slowly begin again by doing a few things for yourself and what makes you, your mind and your body, happy. Here are three simple ways to help you re-energize or indulge in self-care in order to get back on track again.

Set Your Intention Every Morning

It’s okay to sleep in sometimes, and it’s fine to ease into your morning if you’re not feeling 100%. However, when you are finally ready to tackle the world, take a few minutes to think about what you really, truly want to accomplish (with your day, career or life), write it down and meditate. Not only will this bring a sense of calmness in your day first thing in the morning, but you will also be aware of what you’d like to do, and hopefully create a path to get there.

Pay Attention to Your Skin

Your skin is usually one of the first physical signs to show if you’re feeling anxious, stressed or have low energy. When I’m knee-deep preparing for an event or working tirelessly on a campaign, I start to notice an unusual amount of redness or bumps on my face!

It’s important to cleanse on a regular basis, but even more so during times when you’re feeling a lot of pressure or having a hard time coping with work/life balance.
